Jessica joins ASG with an impressive background in facilitating the success of businesses and business leaders. She has spent over a decade assisting and consulting entrepreneurs through roles managing the Small Business Enterprise Centre at the City of Niagara Falls, the St. Catharines Enterprise Centre, and at Innovate Niagara. Through her work in economic development, she has facilitated hundreds of business start-ups as they navigated the challenging regulatory, funding, and competitive environments.
Inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit, Jessica made the leap herself to self-employment as a strategy consultant, brand communications expert, content developer, and engaging speaker/trainer.
Jessica believes in staying connected to the Niagara community she lives in, serving in leadership roles on several boards and committees where she focuses on governance, strategy and succession planning. Her involvement includes organizations such as NEXTNiagara, the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce, Niagara Community Foundation, YWCA Niagara, the Niagara Community Observatory, and many others.
She is a recipient of Niagara’s ‘40 Under 40’ Business Achievement Award (2006), PenFinancial Community Investor Award (2013), and proud alumnus of the Leadership Niagara program (2011-12).
John Armstrong, president of the Armstrong Strategy Group, said, “We're excited to have Jessica join the ASG team. As a skilled facilitator, communicator, and consensus builder, she excels in unlocking the true potential of entrepreneurs, businesses, not-for-profits, and community initiatives.
