Armstrong Strategy Group is thrilled to welcome Katie Farr to its team of communications professionals.
Farr just wrapped up the bicentennial commemorations with the Niagara 1812 Legacy Council, where she was Media & Communications Manager from 2010-2015.
A decorated young woman, Katie has numerous awards and commendations from Niagara College, the Canadian Public Relations Society, the Niagara Parks Commission, the Buffalo History Museum and titles from the American Bus Association and Visit Buffalo Niagara's Travel and Tourism Awards.
Katie brings with here a strong background in broadcast journalism; having been on the air with TV Cogeco for five years and briefly with the short-lived NNTV in St. Catharines.
"I'm very excited to be joining the ASG team, and certainly to continue working with John Armstrong. We worked together during the years of the Legacy Council activities where John was the Chair of our Board of Directors and I learned a lot from him in that short time. I look forward to bringing my design skills and creativity to the table, and help this growing agency continue to gain momentum," says Farr.
"Katie has an extraordinary skillset, which broadens and deepens our ability to deliver for our clients. We're delighted to have her join us," says John Armstrong, President of Armstrong Strategy Group.
A Jill-of-all-trades, Katie brings many skills and experience to the table in areas such as: branding, graphic design, photography, video production, marketing and advertising, event management, social media, successful grant writing, media relations and government relations.
