PR practitioner Katie Sinclair returns to the Armstrong Strategy Group, bringing exceptional creativity and flair to the strategic communications firm.

Katie is a true public relations generalist in every good sense of the term. She has a broad range of skills to get just about any job done. She’s innovative and a great people person to boot!”
Katie brings years of experience in the broadcasting industry, media relations, social media management, event management, photography, graphic design and hands-on communications experience. Her wide array of skills makes her an exceptional communications specialist who is extremely hands-on, a tactical generator, out-of-the-box thinker and creative force that loves to make organizations look good.

I have always admired his genuine nature, his generosity and his sense of community that are reflected in his firm and his wonderful roster of clients. It’s great to be back and put my skills to use as part of such an amazing team that has certainly grown since my first time here.”
Katie graduated from Niagara College's Broadcasting: Radio, Television and Film program and majored in on-air presentation. She brought home the BRTF "Graffiti" Award for Best Second-Year On-Air student and the Best Documentary in Third Year.
After Broadcasting, Katie graduated from the Public Relations Post Graduate Certificate program at Niagara College on the President's Honour Roll, and was recognized with the Canadian Public Relations Society Pinnacle Award for student excellence from the Hamilton/Niagara chapter. She has remained actively involved with the program as a mentor to current students, a member of the Program Advisory Committee, and has taught Organizational Communications in the program.
Katie began her public relations career as Media & Communications Manager with the Niagara 1812 Legacy Council from 2010-2015. She brought the battles back to the forefront in Niagara with creative and visually captivating marketing and branding. She brought home the Binational Beacon Award from Visit Buffalo Niagara's annual Travel & Tourism Awards with her Legacy Council colleagues in 2014, for the outstanding binational marketing campaign and branding for the 1812 events across the Niagara Frontier. She was also recognized by the Niagara Parks Commission for her outstanding contribution to the bicentennial events in 2015.
Katie has designed dozens of logos for organizations across the province and has helped develop branding, social media policies and procedure guides, and brand standards.
After a brief stop with Armstrong Strategy Group in 2015 she was poached by Niagara College’s marketing department. In her role as the Digital Media Officer she was responsible for managing the college’s social media platforms with engaging content utilizing her photography and videography skills. She won the Silver award from the Higher Education Marketing Report for her social media work for Niagara College Canada. In two years, Katie grew the college’s following by a collective 773% across four platforms.
Born and raised in Niagara, Katie truly fell in love with the region while volunteering as a reporter for TV Cogeco (now YourTV) all the way back in high school and throughout college, getting to see all of the amazing places and meeting wonderful people who are the heartbeat of the communities.
