Suzanne brings a decades’ plus experience in fundraising to augment ASG’s philanthropic services with specialties in writing and donor stewardship.
Playing an active role in hospital fundraising through the monumental transformation of Niagara’s hospital services in recent years,Suzanne has acquired a broad-based knowledge of development operations. Coming in at the early stages of a rapidly evolving foundation, she has been involved in a broad spectrum of fundraising from major and leadership gift fundraising, to annual giving, stewardship, communications and events.
Her natural donor-centric instincts became a valuable asset as she took the lead in developing and implementing comprehensive donor stewardship practices. That same donor-centricity is also a hallmark of her writing style that brings the human element to the forefront, connecting would-be donors to the causes that most inspire them and affect change they can feel proud of.
Suzanne has written numerous cases for support, proposals, funding appeals, donor acknowledgement templates, customized letters, media releases, speaker’s remarks, donor stories and other newsletter content for publication. She is also highly regarded for her mastery of sensitive donor communications. Always attuned to the distinct perspective of her audience, Suzanne has honed her ability to speak to stakeholders in a way that resonates and inspires.
Suzanne’s volunteer community pursuits include work with Canadian Blood Services, school literacy programs, and most recently, ProjectSHARE in Niagara Falls.
